Hire a single sit-on-top kayak and enjoy a relaxing paddle around Days Bay. Suitable for kids and adults up to 150kg. Can also be used as a "1+1" if desired, with a small child sitting between an adult's legs.
Follow the meandering Hutt River downhill from its source at Kaitoke to its end at Seaview, then ride around the bays to Days Bay. Finish with your choice of a ferry cruise to Wellington or a shuttle back home. 39/46km of moderate riding.
Four hours gives you enough time to really explore all the side tracks around Pencarrow (or just relax with a picnic lunch!), or head further out to Baring Head, with historic World War II bunkers and more amazing views of the South Island.
